Jazzy Sounds Club was founded at the early 2017 as combined effort of jazz enthusiasts to introduce various types of improvised music. We are closely working with variety of different clubs and venues to give stage to jazz, blues and world music groups.

Our first successful project Jazz@IL is introduced below, and we are looking for further possibilities to expand our activities. Musician, venue, producer, and interested in cooperation with us?  Please send us an e-mail, call us, our visit our FB page, and we will get in touch with you soon.

Jazz@IL Project

JAZZ@IL was initiated by owners of the Dutch IL Caffe in cooperation with  International Jazz Photographer Arkady Mitnik. Our mission is to introduce various styles of improvised music to the Dutch and International audience.  Jazz, Folk- and World music, various collaborations between different styles of music excite us a lot, and we want to share our passion with you, our audience.

We recently started from the series of bi-weekly “Sunday lazy” afternoon concerts, and will be seeking your feedback to understand your wishes and expectations, and adjust our plans.

Joining j-forces with P60

Joining forces with well-known Dutch club P60 in Amstelveen, we have an ambition to give stage to many and many prominent Improvised Music Artists from around the globe.

Our first project with P60 is to introduce the New York-based jazz pianist Vadim Neselovskyi to the Dutch audience. Vadim grew up in Odessa, Ukraine, where he was the youngest fifteen-years old student to be accepted into Odessa Conservatory. When he was 17 years old, he moved to Dortmund. Shortly after arriving in Germany, Neselovskyi established himself on the local jazz scene, taking part in the Dusseldorf Jazz Rally and Leipzig Jazz Days.

Vadim then joined six-time Grammy winner Gary Burton’s Generation Quintet featuring Julian Lage, Luquest Curtis and James Williams in 2004, and has been working as Burton’s pianist and arranger for more than a decade, touring the United States, Europe and Japan.

Now days Vadim and his Trio are performing at the most prestigious world Jazz Scenes including famous Blue Note in New York, Cotton Club in Japan, Jazzahead European Jazz Conference, Alfa Jazz Festival, and many others.

From the September 2017 Downbeat 4,5 star-review of his album “Get Up And Go”, written by Bob Doerschuk : “…I’m not even done listening to this album … yet already I’m giving Get Up And Go the stellar rating it deserves. Neselovskyi is a rare artist even at this early, post-Berklee stage of his career: technically assured as both pianist and composer and, more important, already in possession of a distinctive vision. … last moments confirm what the earliest ones suggested: Get Up And Go is a marvel.”
